They just need to find the ones that work the best for them and be able to use them to make things better. It is something that they have been able to do for a long time and something that has given them the ability to help other people.

They have used their journalism to expose civil rights violations and to help people with the problems that they have when it comes to the things that they are trying to do in their own lives. For Larkin and Lacey, helping people is just something that they are able to do.

Both Michael and Jim decided that they wanted to learn more about the different things that were going on with their local sheriff’s office. They looked into the situations that were happening and found that the office was violating a lot of rights. They also learned of corruption. Larkin and Lacey reported on this so that other people would be able to learn about it, too. This is where the problems started for the reporting duo.

Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin were forcibly removed from their homes and arrested in the middle of the night. The sheriff’s office really did not like the information that they published and decided to arrest them…illegally. Larkin and Lacey knew that they had rights but they also knew the right way to react to the situation.

They waited until they were able to fight it and jumped on the opportunity to do so. This gave them a chance at making sure that they were going to be able to get more out of the different situations that they were in. It was also something that allowed them the chance to do more with what they had and to be able to fight all of the problems that would come as a result.

The reporting team decided that they were going to fight the charges. They did this because they were illegal and they violated several of their rights. They wanted to make sure that they could fight it and that they would win.

They fought the sheriff’s office and they won in court. They also decided to sue the sheriff’s office and were awarded over three million dollars as a result that they used to start the Frontera Fund.

Larkin and Lacey Create News Website

The former owners of Village Voice Media, Jim Larkin and Michael Lacey, have announced they have launched a brand new website called Front Page Confidential. The website will focus on news related to the exercise of free speech and the First Amendment. Front Page Confidential was founded in part because of the pair’s long-standing history of protecting free speech and the rights of migrants in Arizona. Tom Finkel will come on board of Front Page Confidential as editor-in-chief.

The endeavor comes on the heels of Larkin and Lacey selling their interest in Village Voice Media and their online classified website, Backpage. They also recently launched the Larkin and Lacey Frontera Fund. This fund was created by the proceeds of a $3.75 million lawsuit settlement with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office stemming from a 2007 incident. That year the pair were arrested by Sheriff Joe Arpaio for exercising their First Amendments rights of free speech. The arrest was deemed to be unconstitutional and the pair won their lawsuit. The Frontera Fund will be used to help fight the restriction of free speech among migrants in Arizona. The fund will financially assist social advocacy groups involved in the protection of migrant rights.

George Soros Looks For A Deep Reduction In U.S. Military Spending

There are few financial experts who have made such a big impact on the world through their political and philanthropic career than George Soros, the Hungarian born octogenarian who is still leading the way for Democrat donors in the 21st century. Discover the Networks explains George Soros made his first major impact on U.S. politics in 2004 when he pledged more than $27 million to the campaign of Democrat John Kerry after Soros became concerned with the militarization of the U.S. nation as the second Iraq war became a major part of the narrative of the 21st century. Soros himself believes the rising level of military spending in the U.S. should be cut and has used his own open Society Foundations to push forward the opinions of the groups he backs, such as the American Friends Service Committee. Learn more about his profile at businessinsider.com

George Soros began his life living under the threat of Nazi groups that were expanding the cause of far right extremist groups across much of western and central Europe in the 1930s and 40s, which eventually led to George Schwartz being renamed George Soros by his father after the fear of anti-Semitic groups began to creep into the lives of the Hungarian Jewish community. During the Hungarian occupation by Nazi German forces more than 500,000 Hungarian followers of Judaism were murdered in the Holocaust, a fate avoided by the Soros family because of the name change and the forged papers obtained by the family to protect their true identity. The militarization of the U.S. is something George Soros has been fighting throughout the 21st century as he was a vocal critic of President George W. Bush and his Administration in the move towards embarking on the Second Iraq War and the deep distrust many maintained over the reasons for this conflict taking place. Protecting the people of the planet from injustice may be a major part of the philanthropic work of George Soros, but he has also been a major supporter of the environmental protection that environmental groups believe needs to take place in every nation. A strong believer in global warming, George Soros believes the main contributor to the warming of the planet in all areas has been the growing influence of industrial centers spilling carbon emissions across the world; the founder of Soros Fund Management has been looking to provide funding for some of the world’s leading environmental groups, such as the Earth Island Institute and Green For All. Every aspect of the political situation across the planet is understood by George Soros to have the ability to affect humans in all areas, which has led to Soros becoming a major supporter of different groups funded with more than $13 billion of his personal fortune, Forbes reports.

Investment Genius Rethinks Retirement Strategies

Capital Group’s Timothy Armour believes that Warren Buffet is wrong. Buffet bet one million dollars (for charity) that he’d receive larger returns than hedge fund managers through investing in an S&P 500 passive index fund. Buffet may win, because investors are shortchanged by costly funds.

Tim Armour disagrees with Buffet in that he believes investments aren’t about passive or active funds, but about returns investors receive long-term, and that the idea that passive index returns are safest for retirement must be re-examined.

Even if some actively managed funds have performed poorly—several have done the opposite. Anyone who put $10,000 40 years ago in the S&P index fund would have more than $500,000 today; however, if he put in high-performing funds, he would’ve made even more.

Two hallmarks of excellent hedge fund managers: high manager ownership and low expenses. Look for managers who regularly outdo benchmark indexes on average. With many Baby Boomers retiring—it’s high time that better investment steps are brought to the table.

Tim Armour named Chairman of Capital Group on July 28, 2015, Armour is also Capital Group’s CEO; and chairman/principal executive officer of Capital Research and Management Company, Inc. Graduating from Middlebury College with a degree in economics, he’s had 34 years of experience in this industry.

Armour played a key role in the partnership between Samsung Asset Management and Capital Group, which aims to develop asset allocation products and solutions for retirement. Armour said,
“The broader plan is to co-design investment solutions to fulfill the savings, retirement and insurance-linked needs of Korean investors.”

On the market sell-off in September 2015, Armour said, “We’ve had a six year bull run in the U.S. and rising markets in most other parts of the world.” He foresees China’s transformation into an open economy led by consumers.

Wen By Chaz: It Can Work On Any Hair

When someone is creating a product, they have to remember they are making a product for a group of people, a wide ranging group of people. This is not just a product for one person or one group of people. If someone is going to run their business that way, they will never get ahead and they will never stay ahead. They will always be stuck in the same position. They will only have one market. Chaz Dean cares about everyone’s hair and all of the needs of all of his customers. That is why he creates something for everyone, so no one feels left out.

The last thing he wants is for someone to try out a product, and they walk away from it unhappy or not feeling like it was the right fit for them. That is why Wen by Chaz, his latest product, is different. That is proven in this wonderful review by Emily McClure of Bustle.com: http://www.bustle.com/articles/136320-i-used-cleansing-cleansing-conditioner-on-my-fine-hair-heres-what-happened. She is highly respected in the online hair care community. If there is a Sephora product out there, she has tried it, used it, and given her honest thoughts on it. She cannot and will not be bought off by anyone. She is a straight shooter and people respect that about her.

They know when they read a review from her, she is going to tell it like it is. She did that with her review of Wen by Chaz. She also wrote about it for seven days. When it comes to hair care products, it is not the type of thing that someone can just do without even thinking about it. They have to really give it seven days to see the full effect and the full results. The results are in for Wen by Chaz, and they are extremely positive. It gave her fine hair bounce, shine, and confidence, which is a bonus!

End Citizens United PAC Showing Surprising Support Among Thousand of Voters

A group that is trying to get money out of U.S. politics is successfully raising millions of dollars for a political action committee that wants to get money out of politics.

The End Citizens United PAC was formed in March of 2015 and quickly began to attract tens of thousands of donors who contribute very small amounts of cash. To date, the average donation is just $12 per person. At this rate, however, End Citizens United is projecting to bring in a record $35 million in 2017 alone. It raised $25 million in 2016.

The goal of End Citizens United is the same as its name – to overturn and get rid of a 2010 Supreme Court Decision which allowed the formation of something called Super PACs – entities that can raise unlimited amounts of cash from wealthy people and large corporations, and use that cash to support political candidates.

The result of the Citizens United Supreme Court Decision has resulted in the “buying and selling” of political offices in the United States, critics say. It means that only the wealthiest individuals and corporations have true political power now because they can “buy” any candidate they want.

This leaves the average voter – especially poor and middle class citizens – with little or no say in who will represent them in Washington.

Dumping the 2010 Supreme Court ruling was a major feature of the insurgent campaign of Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders in the 2016 election cycle. Candidate Hillary Clinton also supporting getting rid of Citizens United, although critics say she benefited greatly from using it to raise millions for her own campaign. Most Republican candidates favor keeping the Supreme Court ruling as it is.

Whatever the case, the strong performance of End Citizen United heading into the 2018 midterm elections is getting a lot of attention among political observers. If the group meets its projected $35 million haul, the money will be spent heavily to support mostly Democratic candidates for House and Senate seats. Large troves of cash will also certainly be spent on negative attack ads against Republican candidates.

The End Citizens United PAC has attracted 100,000 donors so far in 2017 – and 40,000 of those gave for the first time, indicating powerful momentum for the movement.

It remains to be seen how large of a role End Citizens United PAC money will play in the midterm elections, but a primary goal is to flip the House of Representatives from Republican to Democratic control.

If that happens, End Citizens United will have made a gigantic step forward toward achieving its ultimate goal of getting big money out of politics.
